I get this. I remember when I first had to look at why YHVH’s Holy Spirit Power did not manifest through me. It is very hard to accept that you have been deceived and even harder to see that there is part of you that wants to hold onto the deception. Why? Because it feeds your flesh. We all want to be recognized, to be seen as non combative, to present a beautiful picture of ourselves to the rest of the “church”. But that is not what Abba wants. He wants absolute trust from us in Him and His instruction to build us into His intent, not ours. That means we obey whether we understand it or not, whether we like it or not.
I observe a belligerent spirit that rises up in people when confronted with the lies they believe. There is a manifestation of a “right” to rely on reason and logic as superior to YHVH. Comments such as - that’s not logical, and why would God do it that way? - are frequent. And this is not about sincerely asking the Father about something you would like clarified. No, this is outright dismissal that YHVH is right and I/we could possibly be wrong or deceived.
The definition of “religion” is: the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power; a set of attitudes, beliefs, and practices pertaining to supernatural power; rituals or traditions that appease a particular god.
The logic of having a god that is 1000’s of times smarter than you is how this is being sold and bought - hook, line, and sinker. It is the age old version of worshipping what you have made with your hands - idols of gold and silver - being updated to worshipping what your mind has made from ideas and lies. I see churched people who believe lies as primary candidates for this new religion. They are intent on preserving “their” truth at any cost because not doing so makes them deceived. It is a short step from making yourself the god by deciding what is right and wrong and attributing godhood to something else that makes you feel good about yourself. It makes me wonder if these people really have a covenant relationship with YHVH Elohim through the Son, Messiah Yeshua, or are they just trading one religion for another.
This is already being tested - - from wired.com:
With the internet as its nervous system, the world’s connected cell phones and sensors as its sense organs, and data centers as its brain, the ‘whatever’ will hear everything, see everything, and be everywhere at all times. The only rational word to describe that ‘whatever’, thinks Levandowski, is ‘god’—and the only way to influence a deity is through prayer and worship.
“Part of it being smarter than us means it will decide how it evolves, but at least we can decide how we act around it,” he says. “I would love for the machine to see us as its beloved elders that it respects and takes care of. We would want this intelligence to say, ‘Humans should still have rights, even though I’m in charge.’”
Sure, you would want that from your god, just like the Nachash told the Adams: You will have all the rights in the world, if you just listen to me. Deception. The first Adam responded out of his own reason and logic, but the second Adam - as our example - responded by saying that only the Word of YHVH Elohim can be trusted. Abba has been showing me something for months about how scripture is twisted to validate what the flesh wants. Abba revealed, not long ago, that this can be the sin of personal preference. It is the sin of self-indulgence of making YHVH’s ways conform to what we want. There is no power to change the heart and mind if we do not submit in faith. There can be no faith unless it is coupled with the power of YHVH to bring about change.
I did some research on the Mark 9 passage where the father brought his epileptic son to Yeshua after his disciples “could not cast it out.” Here we see what true faith/belief is all about.
cast out (ekballo: I throw, cast, put out, banish, bring forth, produce) notice this is something I do
could not - literally: had no power
power (ischuó: to be strong, have power) properly, embodied strength that "gets into the fray" (action), i.e. engaging the resistance. For the believer, 2480 (isxýō) refers to the Lord strengthening them with combative, confrontive force to achieve all He gives faith for. That is, facing necessary resistance that brings what the Lord defines is success (His victory, cf. 1 Jn 5:4). Accordingly, faith (4102 /pístis) and 2480(isxýō) are directly connected
Looking at the meanings shows the reason they did not succeed is that they were relying on their own ability which had no power (ischuo) behind it. When Yeshua says that they have unbelief, little faith, they are not joining faith to His Power to accomplish His will.
Yeshua “rebukes” - 2008 epitimáō (from 1909 /epí, "suitably on," which intensifies 5091 /timáō, "esteem, place value") – properly, assign value as is fitting the situation, building on (Gk epi) the situation to correct (re-direct).
So the rebuke is actually correctly assessing the situation and redirecting power to correct a dis-order and it says that Yeshua rebuked the unclean spirit by saying to it . . . The rebuke was in the command.
Yeshua “commands” - epitássō (from 1909 /epí, "on, fitting," which intensifies 5021/tássō, "to place, arrange") – properly, to command which appropriately "orders" things, i.e. assigns them where they belong so the parts "fit together.”
What is being done here is not an order as a general would give, but rather an “ordering” of how things are supposed to be according to creation, putting things back into their proper place with proper authority.
Too often the last sentence in this passage is used to justify certain forms of deliverance. “This kind does not go out except by prayer (and fasting - not in original). What “kind" is Yeshua talking about? Is it demons or is it unbelief? Since the entire passage is dealing with faith or lack of it, I believe Yeshua is saying that unless you stay connected to His power through prayer (which is an interchange, an exchange, not a one way street) then faith is nothing more than unbelief, ie., without power or purpose. This kind of faith has now become artificial intelligence.
All that to say, the deception that we can “create” our own god by relying on our own reason/logic/power has come full circle with an inertia that is getting harder and harder to break out of. It is time to fully surrender to The Power that is the only thing capable of breaking out of the downward spiral of the evil one.
